AIBA 2010 EC meeting in Xiamen

On January 26-30, 2010 the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) held the AIBA Ordinary Executive Committee meeting in Xiamen city of China. This year’s meeting varied from the ones held in the past. For the first time in its history AIBA held a joint meeting of the Executive Committee and permanent Commission members.
   Mr. Gafur-Arslonbek Rakhimov in the capacity of the Executive Vice-president of AIBA participated in both meetings as well as attended the Olympic Museum in Xiamen during his visit to China.
   For three consecutive days the AIBA EC members have discussed key issues related to WSB (World Series of Boxing), amendments to the by-laws of AIBA statutes, business plans of AIBA commissions for 2010 and other matters connected with the further development of the sport of boxing worldwide.
