Heads of NOCs and Sport Authorities of GCC countries meet in Kuwait

On 20th and 21st of March 2010 the city of El-Kuwait has received the Presidents o f NOCs and the Chairmen of Sport Authorities of GCC countries that includes Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. The senior officials and the participants of the meetings discussed the agenda of the gathering that figured important issues, which affect the GCC Olympic movement as well as the current sporting situation within the region.
   The President of the Olympic Council of Asia and the Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait HRH Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah has extended an invitation to Mr. Gofur Rakhimov to visit Kuwait as an honorable guest along with the IOC members from Tunisia and Egypt as well as some other leades of the Asian Sport Federations.
   A reception-dinner for the guests of the event was given after the gathering at the Regency Hotel in El-Kuwait.
