General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Uzbekistan

 On February 24, 2005 in the conference-room of “DEDEMAN Silk Road Tashkent” hotel there was held the ХII General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
     The members of the National Olympic Committee, representatives of the republican sports federations, CFSA and sports organisations, ministries and establishments, the Olympic Academy, Olympic clubs, mass media and others participated in the work of the Assembly.
     The participants of the Assembly also included representatives of the  “Mehrjon-Sport” Fund. In accordance with the Statute of the NOC of Uzbekistan the Republican Charitable Fund “Mehrjon-Sport” was unanimously admitted as the collective member of the NOC. S. Djabbarov, the executive director of the Fund, was elected individual member of the NOC.
     Gafur Rakhimov, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the “Mehrjon-Sport” Fund was reelected Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
